Best Broadband Deals 2011
Every year new technology comes and goes but one that is here to stay is the internet. It is pretty much required for day to day living now, so you want to make sure you get the best deal. There are loads of adverts all the time, on TV, the internet and other media. They almost all offer 'up to 20mb broadband' (I can't think of any that don't!). Really though there are only two important factors when it comes to broadband:
- How much usage you get a month (try and get over 10gb! Higher is better!)
- How much it costs
Almost all broadband providers will almost always be up, so you don't have to worry any more about how reliable the service is. Years and years ago (back in Windows 98 era!) when we used dial up this was a big problem, but they are all very reliable.
As of 28 September 2011 Plusnet are offering half price broadband for 12 months with their talk anytime phone package. Check out their site for details but the basics of it is £6.74/mo, with up to 20mb speeds (fast!), 10gb monthly usage (enough for most families) and also cheap phone calls. You still have to pay line rental but you can switch from BT (or whoever you are with) and it should work out cheaper.
